Ability Intelligent’s VDs vehicle-type and turning-behaviour recognition system leverages existing cameras to identify vehicle categories, pedestrians, and turning movements. The system performs consistently across various time periods and weather conditions and can be deployed rapidly at low cost. Future applications include traffic signal optimization to improve vehicle flow.
