| Z-COM Showcases AI-Based Pantograph Monitoring Deployment on Danhai Light Rail at Secutech |

Z-COM will showcase its AI-based pantograph monitoring solution at Secutech 2026, featuring a successful field validation on the Danhai Light Rail system.
The solution has been deployed across stations V8–V11, where onboard cameras continuously capture pantograph images. Edge AI processes the data in real time to detect abnormal sparking and carbon strip wear. Analysis results are transmitted to the control center, enabling maintenance teams to identify issues and take action on the same day the train returns to the depot, eliminating the need to wait for routine inspections.
The system is designed as an add-on solution, allowing deployment without replacing existing onboard equipment, significantly reducing integration complexity. It is well-suited for rail safety monitoring and predictive maintenance applications.
