The HPD305 human presence detection module features an Always-On design with a low-resolution CMOS sensor, outputting 240×320 images at 3–5 FPS for ultra-low power operation (~3mW), far below the ~300mW typical of standard cameras. The module only reports whether a person is present within the sensor’s view, without capturing personal images, ensuring privacy protection. It offers a 103° DFOV ultra-wide field of view and a recommended sensing range of 0.2–1.2 meters, accurately detecting user presence and proximity. Integrated ALS ambient light sensing adjusts display behavior to reduce power consumption. Interfaces include I2C, GPIO, and USB for seamless integration into various end devices.
