Purpose and Methods of Data Collection Messe Frankfurt collects personal data through various methods such as digital means, telephone, paper, or fax registration. The personal data collected by Messe Frankfurt during event registration includes: C001 Personally Identifiable Information, such as attendees' names, addresses, telephone numbers, email addresses, etc., and C002 Financial Information, such as credit card or bank transfer information, which is collected only for fee-based activities. Messe Frankfurt uses your personal data for registration management, exhibition outcome analysis, market research, and will conduct online and offline marketing promotions for Messe Frankfurt and its affiliated units, including industry insights/vendor information, service offerings, and event/exhibition organization. Scope of Data Usage The personal data collected by Messe Frankfurt is based on the scope of information you agreed to provide in the activity registration form or service terms and conditions, which will be used by Messe Frankfurt and its affiliated groups for organizing, undertaking, and executing exhibitions and online/offline activities. When Messe Frankfurt provides your personal data to co-organizers, or sponsors of jointly held exhibition events for marketing purposes, it will strictly require them to comply with relevant laws and confidentiality agreements regarding personal data. Messe Frankfurt will never provide, exchange, or sell your personal data to other individuals/corporations or for other purposes unless requested by judicial or other competent authorities through formal and legal procedures. Period, Region, Recipients, and Methods of Data Usage (1) Period: During the existence of the main or co-organizers of this activity or the data retention period according to laws and regulations. (2) Region: Within the territory of the Republic of China or the locations of domestic and foreign recipients. (3) Recipients: Supervisory authorities and units responsible for the purpose of data collection, as well as our company and cooperative units that are legally permitted or agreed upon. (4) Methods: Utilization through automated machines or other non-automated methods, including but not limited to digital files (including computer, electronic, and fax methods) and physical paper forms. Rights and Methods Exercisable under Personal Data Protection Laws According to the provisions of personal data protection laws, you have the right to inquire about or request access to your personal data, request copies, request supplementation or correction, request cessation of collection, processing, or utilization, and request deletion. If you request inquiries or access or copies, Frankfurt may charge necessary costs. If you request cessation of collection, processing, utilization, or deletion, you may not receive notifications of subsequent services or event organization from Frankfurt and its affiliated groups. Image and Likeness Authorization All individuals present at the event (including but not limited to exhibitor staff, vendor staff, visitors, media representatives, and online content creators) acknowledge and authorize that Messe Frankfurt may, during the event, conduct incidental photography and/or video recording. Such materials may include, without limitation, images or likenesses captured in connection with booth setup, exhibiting, visiting, interactions, product demonstrations, lucky draws, performances, livestreaming, or any other event-related activities. Messe Frankfurt shall have the right to use such photographs and/or recordings for event-related marketing, promotion, or other publicity materials, including but not limited to brochures, leaflets, websites, electronic promotional mailings, online animations, and short-form videos, without further notice to or compensation from Messe Frankfurt to the individuals recorded. However, Messe Frankfurt shall not use such images, photographs, videos, or likenesses for any purposes other than those related to the event. Right to Revoke Authorization Participants retain the right to revoke the above authorization; however, such revocation shall not affect the validity of any use of the participant’s image or likeness that has already been lawfully conducted based on the authorization prior to its revocation. Consent Acknowledgment I hereby confirm and agree to the following: If I check the consent box below, such consent shall constitute my written consent to Messe Frankfurt after having been informed of all matters that must be disclosed in accordance with applicable personal data protection laws.
