Black Light-Shielding Foam Fire Extinguisher for Solar PV Systems
In recent years, aging solar panels have led to an increase in fires across eco-energy advanced countries in Europe and the United States. Conventional water or white foam extinguishing methods cannot stop power generation immediately, resulting in persistent electric shock and re-ignition risks.
Bubble Shade is a revolutionary foam fire extinguishing agent developed by Horse Sheep Monkey Inc. in collaboration with Kitakyushu City University (patent pending in Japan).
The special black light-shielding foam instantly blocks sunlight, reducing photovoltaic output to 1/50 (from 25,000 lux to 480 lux), stopping power generation immediately while suppressing the fire.
